Thanks to everyone for making parkrun #80 another great experience at Taman Pudu Ulu, Kuala Lumpur. Every week we are pleased to welcome visitors from far and wide, who along with our regular parkrunners, brought the bumper total for this event to 84 participants. Well done, parkrunners.
Congratulations to this week’s male first finisher Mark Dobson, from KL, who finished the course with a PB of 18:57. Also well done to TPU regular Julie Foreman, who was our female first finisher in a time of 21:44. It was lovely to welcome many visitors to Taman Pudu Ulu again. Our parkrun is very much on the parkrunners’ Bucket List and this week was no exception as we welcomed two families from Australia, along with runners from New Zealand. It was also good to meet Malaysian runners currently based in the UK for whom Taman Pudu Ulu parkrun is a big pull factor back to Kuala Lumpur, as well as members of running clubs from Taiping and Singapore. Maybe see you all again very soon?
